Nanostreams and controllers

I have a question for the masses. I was planning to get a 6055 and a controller. In the future, I may get another 6055, or a 6100. Should I get a multicontroller, or a single controller? I could put another pump on the single controller with a 'splitter' in the future, correct? Is it worth it to get a multicontroller now, on the possibility that I may get another pump in the future?

Multicontroller.

The single controller will not allow you to set up each pump seperately or corrdinate them. i.e. they both will do the exact same program.
