Narassius snails and qt

I don't think so. I keep seeing more and more threads where people are keeping these snails in bare bottom tanks. I guess they just find a spot under the rocks and wait until it's feeding time.

I'm currently bare-bottomed (my tank, get your minds out of the gutter) and my Nassarius snails are out 24/7. They like the glass bottom as much, if not more, than the glass sides.

the ones i've had in QT never seemed to care.

you can always include a small dish of sand in the QT tank if you have something that you think should have some sand, this works for wrasse too.

then you just throw out the dish of sand when you're done with it (or leave it)

Bare bottom here as well. Ohh and my tank.

Our snails too like the bottom. Hermit crabs however not so much until coraline algae started growing. they have a hard time walking on the glass.
