Naso elegans, the Blonde Naso

This is a very beautiful fish for a large tank. I never really consider keeping one the many years that I keep marine aquarium, thinking that they get too large. That is until I saw a friend Blonde Naso in a 300 gal tank. Seeing this fish in his tank, I make the decision to get one. I never buy a large fish for my tank, ever, so after making this decision I went to Petco in Corpus Christi and got this 2.5 inches Blonde Naso the end of 5/2024. Here are picture of him over this last 1.5 year. He grew really fast ans is at 6+ inches at this time and is the largest tang in my tank. He just out grew my PBT which I had for years.
I find that Blonde Naso easy to keep. Not picky in eating but is not a great grazer. All my tangs graze algae all day, this Naso eat out of the water column and do not pick out algae on the rock work too much.
i am getting my tank back up in good working order after slow neglect. Just has a few hardy corals and Gigantea and Magnifica anemones, and the CUC. Not a lot of hard coral.
Here are the pictures include the picture of the fish that cause me to change my mind on keeping Naso in reef tank.
Any of you guys keep this fish, please chime in. Comments welcome.
