I purchased a yellow tail wrasse about 2 days ago and he was fine when I got him home. Aclimated him for about 2 hrs before adding him to my tank. He's been eating fine. I've been treating his brine shrimp with kents garlic extreme.
However, He has this nasty looking fin now that I noticed the very next day. He has a few raised scales, and his fin is shredded. He hasnt been acting wierd at all just favoring the other fin that seems to be a bit roughed up as well. As far as the other tank mates there is nothing that would attack him, and I havent seen any aggression since I added him. Here is a pretty good quality pic of the injury.
