Natural "propagation" of ricordea

I'm sure this has been discussed before? I looked at every thread here but haven't ran across one. I have 3 yuma's that I would like to propagate......not slice and dice but rather encourage them to split. What are the tricks to this? Should I feed them somehow, make them move (shade, angle)? I want to have some to trade for other color yuma's. Thank you.

put a rubber band over em .. so it won't actually cut them.. but give em just enough pressure to split on their own .. i've tried this method .. works pretty good doesn't seem to really "wear and tear" the ric.
