natural sunlight?

does anyone supplement with natural sun.if so with what results? i know alot of sps keepers are cutting down but what bout letting your tank hit with a few hours of sun during the day. i let mine get 3 hrs of sunlight in the morning or more. sps seems to like and really no crazy alge growth. any other results?

there are a few build threads out here that run their tanks on sunlight and supplement with actinics only, so it is very doable.
