Major changes since.
I' ve introduced biopellets some 6 months ago, i've added another MP40w ES and the lignt went from 2x250 w MH to ATI Sunpower 8x80w dimmable.
Meantime I had a newborn (bangai cardinal) in the tank that I accidentaly found inside the sump

Wow. Awesome tank you have. I really like the dimensions? Did you build the stand yourself? Have the skimmer and calcium reactor worked well for you? How's your fishlist? With the ati fixture do you get much light spillage outside of the tank? You've had very impressive growth over a year. Wish I would have seen this a year ago. Great job

That's a great looking tank and setup! Very clean.

Thanks karlinkelly

Very good job. Tank looks clean and professional.

Thanks newbie.

Thanks Lotusstar. Yeah i've built the stand myself, kindda learned from previous mistakes. Skimmer and calcium reactor both are working pretty well. I've been able to maintain my Ca at 420 , i'll eventually upgrade the skimmer for a ATI powercone 250i, but not yet.
I don't get much light spillage outside the tank. So far I am only running it at 70% and it seem to be enough.

Lighting change and explanation please:)

Nice setup.

Thanks jimmy.
The reason why I went from MH to ATI t5's is that the MH fixture came from my previous tank that was 40" . So on the current 59" I was getting dark spots in the tank where I could not really have SPS's. Now I can have them on the far left and right.
Second, it's less heat ,so less problems during summer time with temperatures not to mention the electricity bill.
I am really pleased with ATI and beeing able to see it dimming the lights creating that sunrise and sunset effect it's something

Very nice!! I too like the clean look, this may the build that causes me to stray from the RSM650 that I have been dreaming about.
Ireally like the minimal rock, unusual rock 'scape

A very beautiful tank! Also, I loved the good quality camera work and editing. The final image of the trigger in silhouette was especially good. Thank you for sharing.

The tank is looking really great and the corals look very healthy. Nice growth on them too.

See you next week buddy!
