In case anybody noticed, FragSwapper was down for 3 hours this morning to move the database to the new server. If anybody has problems please let me know right away...most of you know my private email address w/ Yahoo. I figured I'd post it here so I don't have to bug the whole world. :)

The swap is shaping up nice, it looks to be the best one we've had outside of TFP. My tank is only wet when it rains so I won't be buying any frags... :) ..but I might still have to make the trip to this one!

...FYI..Site is down again. All I can say is...it's not me. :) Everything is done, it just could take up to 24 hours for everything to process. I decided to move both the database AND the site today since I had 10 days before the site went down on its own. The database took 2 hours, now I just have to wait for the all the domain pointers to go to the right place. Technically the site IS up..just no place your browser can get to it. :)

Just got word Jason Fox will be attending and donating some awesome corals for the raffle.
He will also have plenty of goodies up for grabs also

Although gas prices are killing me I just went onto fragswapper and saw enough "beginners" frags at great prices to convince me that I must make the trip. Plus the swap will give me the kick in the pants that I need to do some necessary tank maintance! Looking forward to it.

UPDATE:

The registration program on ncpars.org is temporarily down. We are working to resolve this issue as fast as possible. Please bear with us while we work the kinks out of the new system. While you wait... Be sure to check out the School Program pages as well as post a hello in our new forum to see how it works.

Thank you for understanding.

Hey Rick has this been fixed? This is what I get waiting until the last minute. :(

No Ross,

It has not been fixed. It seems as though we are having a little server issue or something as well. If you still want to pay before hand(generic registration); you can still pay via the paypal linked on the RC NCPARS forum. There is a paypal thread sticky at the top. This should still get you "express" entrance to the swap.

I'm looking forward to hosting the swap on Saturday at Williamsport Area High School! We'll have 200 gallons of fresh Reef Crystals water made up at 1.024 specific gravity if you need some for your tank. We can also give you water from our system if you want.

I'll have the fish room all cleaned up for you to get a "behind the scenes" view of our operation. Feel free to check out our system and our display tanks. I'll be making trades for coral directly from the system - don't be afraid to ask.

Saturday should bring nice weather for a change. Can't wait to see everyone!

With 4 hours to drive each way tomorrow I can hardly wait! You guys do throw a great event.

Make sure you "get your fill" of skimmate before you leave... ;) :lolspin:

Thanks, we appreciate those kind words. We always aim at beating a previous event.

Actually, it wasn't broke. I had the registration setup to shutdown on 4/28 to give the BOD members in charge of running the swap time to tally all the figures. There was a glitch tho in that nothing appeared when you tried to view the registration page. It should be worked out now for the next swap when the dealine comes you will actually see it's too late to register online.

BTW, the new site and registration was created on 3/6/11. From that day untill 4/27/11 a grand total of 10 people registered on the site for the swap.
