ok I was moving some stuff around in my tank and found these guys. they are both no longer in the tank but what are they?




and snail of some sort I know that.

Chiton and Stomatella I think. Both are fine if I remember right.

yup I would say the first one is a chiton but I can't find anything on it if it is safe or not. I also couldn't find the exact one that I had.

and the second looks like a stomatella guestion

That's a great link! Confirmed some of my previous suspicions of organisms I've found before.

Chitons are great, I order them from Reefcleaners.

The only bad I have heard is some chitons can mar or scratch acrylic tanks as they clean. Otherwise both are good tank inhabitants.
