I don't want to load this down, so the pics are here on Flickr. There are two... things. One is a blob - it is free-floating; the other is some sort of nudi? snail? I don't know. The first one could just be waste from my RBTA, or it could be cooler. The latter I've seen only on rock, never near any coral and I think is harmless; but would like to know for sure what these things are.

Just two pictures here for convenience - there are more on Flickr.

Blob thing:

Crawling thing:

Thanks!

I have a lot of nassarius. Does that mean I may end up with a lot of little snails? I haven't researched about if snails spawn in captivity, so if that is an egg sack, thats' a huge surprise to me!

I googled the Stomatellas and sounds like this is a great addition that I may even want to try to procure more of - is that accurate?

I love having a reef. ;) Thanks for the IDs!

Yeah, stomatellas rock, I won't see mine for a few days then when I do it's scooting around, kinda like the 'vette of snails. As for the 1st pic, I haven't a clue, maybe pagojoe or leslie could give you a definitive answer. Good luck and have fun with your reef.

Stomatellas huh? I had a couple for about a year. Must have been hitchikers. I would not see it for so long I thought they were dieing and then hatching or something. Glad to know what they were.
