Need 2 Mantis IDs

These little guys (or gals) came off of a TBS package. They are both next to a 1 1/2 inch PVC elbow to give you an idea of their size.

Mantis 1:

Mantis 2: I am thinking this is a N. Wenn. Am I correct?

Not sure on your litle monsters, but as to terms...

With the actual insects (Preying Mantis), the plural is mantids.
How that relates to the (effectively) nickname of Stomatopods, I am unsure of. Great looking critters, though...

Watch, I am getting a shipment next month or so, HOPING for some free mantis Shrimp and I won't get any...haha.

Theyre both Neogonodactlyus wennerae, just different colors, i like the second one psychodelic!

Mantis shrimp is the plural if you are talking about several of one species. Mantis shrimps would be more than one kind.

All the photos are of N. wennerae.
