Can somebody help me ID this create, I have no idea what it is. It has a other, but smaller under it. As can be seen on the picture. It problay did hike a ride with a live rock that I did get from the coastline where I live.
It did come from the local coastline. That is for sure. As I haven't bought any live rock yet. I am just using live rock from the coastline at the moment.
It might be possible that this is a Gammarus species, this is just a guess, I still have no clue what it is. But I have few Gammarus fossarum shrimps (or species closley related to it) in my tank.
Most certaintly not a mantis. No eyes, no enlarged raptorial appendage, The carapace and telson aren't separated like a mantis. But I am also interested in this. It looks like a colorful land bug.
This isn't a land bug, this creature has gills far as I can tell. But greenbean36191 is right on the group of species. What exact species this is I don't know.
Thanks for the ID, the smaller one did die last night. I am unsure why. But I have just finised setting up my tank, so this is not a surprise that it did die. The larger one however is still alive and appears to be doing good at the moment.
