I don't think that they are. They are only at most 2.5-3 mm and don't seem to get any bigger.

Thinking they may be pyramid snails but I don't have any clams? what would they be eatting to keep reproducing?

Ok, they appear the same size as the dwarf ceriths I have, but with nothing for scale in the picture, I could be wrong... (actually that part about scale doesn't really matter, there's always a good likelihood i'm wrong.. :-))

Pyramid snails? I had some like that, and they were always all over my clam...clam died, and they went after my other. Took them suckers out.

With the quarter for scale, I can say those are about half the size of my dwarf ceriths...so, there it is...i'm wrong....

They also prey on other snails. There's another type, too, that looks very similar but is harmless, the name escapes me. Member Pagojoe could tell you, though.

Remembers me off the "common marsh snail" Hydrobia ulvae.

I just looked up pics of this lil guy and it does look kinda like it. still think its the Pyramid snails. I have a snail grave yard going... going to try to pick some out a lil at a time and looking at getting a new fishy... there are just so many of them..!
