Also, did you roll it around and mix the salt prior to using it? I know sometimes with IO and RC they settle out
No, I don’t have another kit handy and my LFS is a Petco so, of course, they don’t carry them. Nearest LFS with any decent saltwater items is 45 minutes away.
I will I the future. Just rolled what is left, 3/4 of a bucket, and am mixing a new batch.

If performed properly and the color does not change to pink after adding the 0.6 ml then this means calcium is lower than 300 ppm.
You could take say a quarter of gallon of aquarium water and raise that by say 100 ppm and measure that.

Crazy results appear if you try testing a drop @ a time.
Put in 60 ml of titration all in 1 shot, it should be pink, then drop by drop until it turns blue.

Hunh, totally different than the Salifert calcium test I have. That explains a lot. I guess if I had paid attention to what was said in the first post...
