need a little help

I just got a canon XTi and a 28-135 is lens, i have been taking pics with no problems for a couple days.This morning with a full battery and only about 15 shots on a empty card my camera starts telling me its busy when trying to take pics with the flash, Talk about p***ed off trying to get shots of 4 kids and not to mention the wife in the background ,you paid how much for that camera....What can i do or add to the camera so it won't give me the busy signal again... Thanks for the help

Sounds like a power problem. The built in flash isn't powerful enough to need that much time to recover if you've got a full battery. Try another battery.

I was snapping pics a little on the fast side trying to get all the kids,the camera never "froze up" i just had to wait 3-5 sec. before i could shoot the next pic. It didn't happen every time just when i would shoot 3-5 pics back to back....
