Need a nice sump...Please Sump

I need a sump for a 75 gallon tank and stand. The tank has a corner over flow and the stand is 18 inches deep. I have never purchased a sump so I really have no idea about the different brands...my previous sumps were all ghetto style. I have a $300 dollar budget (someone else's money)
Please Help....

For a pre-made sump for your size tank with a $300 budget, the Eshopps AZU-100 is pretty nice. (Normally about $310, but Doctors Foster Smith actually has it on sale right now for quite a bit less.) Trigger systems Crystal 30" would be another decent one in that range at about $250. The Trigger one has a fuge compartment too, not sure if you are wanting that or not.

I would just get a 40 gallon breeder and set it up without any baffles. The sump would just be a place for your equipment, nothing more. KISS.

That would work too. I haven't used an ice cap sump, but they look pretty nice.

A DIY 40 breeder was my first thought as well but it is the same front to back dimension as a 75 (18") so it wont fit under the stand.

Well I just got approval for the trigger systems 30 inch ruby...I watched some videos on it and I am going to give it a try...anyone have any experiences with it?

No experience with it, but if I had not gone with a Red Sea Reefer kit, I would have gotten the same one. Looks amazing.

I'm sure you'll be happy with it. I almost bought a trigger emerald when setting up my current tank but got a good deal on a slightly bigger Eshopps so I went that route instead. All the trigger sumps from the crystal up to the tideline are quite nice, IMO.
