I checked out live aquaria and they have in stock Gonodactylaceus but assorted species. Does any one know if this species is interactive?. Do they fair well?. Ive read on Roy's list ( thanks again roy for the wonderful information ) and ive read most the Gonodactylaceus species are diurnal. I guess my question is how active are they?, are they interactive?. And too the people that have a Gonodactylaceus species, how is your experience?. Thanks! Oh and BTW my tank i have is a 29 gallon with rubble and sand substrate with LR.

I would check out tampabaysaltwater.com. (go to the ordering page for list of their stuff and prices) THey will ship you a N. wennare to your door for $50. They look really cool and from what I've heard are quite interactive.

That;s true, but Im wouldn't waste a 29 on a N. Wennerae.
Some of the larger Mantis are way more interactive.
You could put a peacock in there, and you can find peacocks anywhere, so just ask your local pet store.

mine seems to be pretty active at times. ever since hurting its smashers/recovering, it's gotten used to my presence and being fed by hand or chopsticks. i wouldn't say it's always out frolicking around... but it does come out when i'm near the tank.

mine is from the carribean and actually comes out and does summersalts and runs around. Hes highly active.

I have a n wennera, and it very active. It knows when it is feeding time, eat's from my fingers. well heck, all mantis are cool

My male G chiragra is the most interactive mantis I own.

I actually have a female that is as active as this one however is smaller so is less bold. I think the larger the mantis the more they will be interactive.
