Need advice about lighting (T5)

Hey there,
My tank is 40" long and 16" high. Is it possible to keep sps & clams under 6*39W T5?
The bulbs have individual reflectors, however they are DIY and made of aluminium. The ballasts are Osram. Dont have chance to change the reflectors or ballasts.

I keep SPS in a 4x54 75 and have no issues, you should be fine there.

I have no idea about clams, have no interest in them.

If you dont mind asking, what kind of reflectors & ballasts do you use? And what about coral growth & coloring?

I bought the entire setup from a reefer so I don't know what brand or anything, wasn't a name brand though... big ugly white thing.

I have individual reflectors but they aren't nearly as nice as the high end units, I thought about retrofitting some icecap SLRs but this setup is working for me so I probably won't mess with it.

I am using the same bulbs as this guy:

Growth and coloration seem fine to me but this is my first SPS tank so I have nothing to go by.
