Another Update,

We added some active carbon last night to help with any potential ammonia spikes.

Since adding the additional live rock and the water change everyone seems to be content hiding on the bottom.

I'm wondering if it was simply not enough hiding spots for the 4 fish?

Glad to hear everyting is doing better. Adding some sections of pvc pipe will provide some more hiding spots for the inhabitants. You are correct in thinking that lack of hiding spots will stress them in a new environment.

Quick update:

The Grammas are all eating now and seem to be comfortable. The Fairy Wrasse is hiding still but doesn't look stressed.

Thanks to everyone for their help.

About 3 hours before we added the fish. We filled it with water from the main system and added live rock from the refugium.

Well theres the problem. Tank isn't cycled yet. Even with live rock and water from your main tank it will still cycle. It won't be as big of a spike, but there will be one.

Note too, that leathers are cranky creatures and can output some pretty stinky chemicals when annoyed. If it was getting too much chemical 'feedback' in a small space, it may have thrown a tantrum, ergo flywheel effect.
When dealing with leathers that are annoyed, carbon can calm the situation down by taking out the offending chemicals. It has the added benefit of lowering ammonia. I have never seen it get bad enough to annoy fish, but I have never had them at that small a quarters. Just a maybe-part-of-the-picture.
