Need advice for a 50g (6000? w/control unit?)

I need to replace my Vortech from Ecotech - too many motor stalls for my liking.

I have a 50gallon 36" wide x 18" high x 18" deep -

The one Vortech (when it works) is great -

I would like to purchase one Tunze with one Controller that will move enough water to not need anything else in the tank (a.k.a. I don't want to put two powerheads in this tank- ever)

Cost: no object.

Please advise, and thank you in advance.

A 6000 Stream should be more than enough. If I am wrong you can upgrade it to a 6100 for $72. The single controller would be all you need.

what corals are you trying to keep? one 6045 in a 50g wouldn't be enough flow for most lps and really any sps....

mixed reef - I noticed you mentioned a 6045 wouldn't be enough; would a 6055 be enough by itself?

I'd be will to buy two of either - is the 6045 controllable with any of the Tunze controllers?
