Need advice on a pan world return pump for a 180 AGA tank

Hi all
I bough a panworld return pump 100px-x for my 180,
I have been trying to find pvc to fit the male return and intake part of the pump, i have gone to low,s homedepo and a lot of
places on line,i am looking for two adaptors 1'' female with a 3/4 reducer on the outher end, for some reason reg pvc does not go on tread i called the place o bough it from and no help, some one said it is proble metrick, i went back to Lowes and went past the pvc and found cpvc and the 1'' female tread end went on all the way but did not reduce to 3/4 slip, if any body has had this truble or can help with this problem, that would be grate.

dunno, my panworld worked fine with regular pvc threads, all my bits and pieces all come from lowes

My PanWorld PS100xx-x worked well with standard fittings. My question would be with a pump rated this high, why are you reducing to 3/4" so close to the pump? You might try to stay with 1" parts. Just a thought.

i use a mag 18 on mines... have to limit it a little....
