Hello All,
Within the next week or so, I'll be replacing my old Life Reef sump with a new Trigger System Emerald 34" sump.
Here's the question I need from the structural experts.
Since my old pine stand has two major panels in the front center of the stand, if I drain about half the tank of water, do you think I would ok structurally just to swap out the sumps, instead of taking down the entire tank. I would also have some narrower support pieces of wood to place on both right and left side of the front panel during the swap out, just to have peace of mind.
I'm attaching a picture of my stand that has my 90 gallon sitting on top of my stand.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated,
Randy
