I have had my nano tank (20 gallon tall) up and running 2 and a half months. The plan is to make it a zoa and mushroom tank. As of right now it's a FOWLR tank. I kept a log of the daily tests on an excel file for the first 30 days. And have tested once a week since. After I saw my cycle take place and dropped for a week to 0. I bought a percula clown. He has been doing great! Waited a month and bought him or her a mate. This one is bigger (my guess a female about 3 inches). The bigger one was drip acclimated for an hour and put in. They both took to one another right away, won't leave one another's side now at all. Both were eating healthy for the first 3 days like normal. After 3 days she started staying at the bottom with white stringy poop. And slightly leaning on her side. I googled it and saw it could be a infection, since she doesn't have any signs of discoloration, or spots, or anything. So I saw prazipro works great for worms and other bacteria infections. I treated the tank since it's FOWLR. Now she is looking worse. Came home from work to her on the bottom not swimming. I have tried putting every type of food in the tank, both clowns will not eat. And my little one was a pig, he would eat anything you throw at him...no I didn't really throw it! I forgot to mention that at one point when she was on the bottom, I'd turn the lights out and she would come out of it and swim around just normal. It was weird. I don't know what else to do. I think it has spread to my little clown too. She isn't gasping for air, but she is moving her mouth. Would look like talking to describe it in words. This is a picture of her at bottom.

My clown did the same thing for about a Week. I'm a naturalist so i didn't treat it. Just kept everything normal, including the feeding schedule. It eventually perced up and went back the usual behavior.

How long did you acclimate the clown....Most fish stores keep there salinity much lower in there fish only tanks....

She didn't make it :( but she was drip acclimated for over an hour. My other fish seem to be doing good and eating again. Just very sad that she didn't make it. I did lower the salinity to 1.025 slowly. The day before she died.
