Need Fish Suggestion

RBU1

Moving on Up
I would like some opinions for my final fish.....In my 300 I have...

pair of crosshatch triggers
Queen/Blue Angel Hybrid
Achilles Hybrid
Multi Colored Pygmy Angel
Yellow coris wrasse
Pair of Black and White Ocellaris clowns

I want to add one more "show" fish......If I have to save for a few months then so be it....Something in the $600-$700 range.

What would you suggest?

agree with snorvich. As long as you can be there to feed them enough. I'd go with lyretails or bimacs or sunsets

Hum.....Interesting....

I am home in the evenings about 4 hours after the lights come on.

Not sure if I am an anthias fan. I am not a wrasse fan. The L. carmabi doesnt really do anything for me either...

I do like Tangs and Angels, but not a huge fan of the Sohal......

Keep them coming.....and thanks

I think the Anthias' feeding requirements are a little overstated. I have 2 Lyretails that I only feed once per day and I've had them for over 2 years. They're one of the hardier Anthias to keep, so I can't speak for those that have more difficult species. They've grown slightly, kept their color and the largest one is even morphing into a male.

Tangs are my favorite. Active fish that pick all day. If you need one a little more aggressive but don't quite want a sohal, I've always liked the Red Sea Desjardin Sailfin. If you get a good one with nice markings, they really are quite a majestic fish, and should do well in your 300, and shouldn't bother your expensive Achilles hybrid.

i'd go with a blueface angelfish. i'm sure you've seen one in person? they look absolutely electrifying. if not a pair or a single male personifer.
