Need "Generic" Reactor - Which one?

Not Likely 2 Ever Grow Up
I am seriously thinking of trying the new WM ecoBAK product - and since I don't have a sump, need a generic reactor that will hold 1/2 litre of the ecoBAK and have a 100 gph flow rate. Want to make sure its rated for a tank twice our size, so that when/if we upgrade, I don't need to buy another one.

I don't have a clue which manufacturers are best for reactors - I was thinking about one of the following:

* NextReef MR1

* Precision Marine Reverse Flow Reactor

* Vertex UF-15

Any suggestions on the above? Or is there something better/cheaper? Thanks in advance.

i cant answer this and id like to know too though i have alot of lexan laying around and thought maybe id diy a reactor too

BRS sells nice reactors, Single or Duel that most people use for Eco-Bak. Plus they are cheaper than all the above you mention.
There is a group buy going on this week, You can get additional savings by getting it there. JMO

Found them - unfortuneately, they are sold out of the delux model. Not sure if the single rreactor is large enough to hold the amount of pellets required - so the double reactor might be a better choice.

What size pump would I need? The reactor will be in the cabinet under the tank and WM says there needs to 100GPH flow rate through the ecoBAK to tumble the pellets properly.

A Maxijet 1200 works fine on my duel reactor or any other pump that has the needed GPH to push the water through. JMO

Bill is dead on here. I would watch the videos on the reactors on the BRS website though. I have the dual with MJ1200 but if I had it to redo I would have went with two single chambers with MJ900or1200 on each.

The duel works fine with the 1200 for Eco-Bak, You only need 100gph through the EB for it to work fine. The best way would be to have a manifold and just one large return pump doing all the needed reactors for free so to speak. The Power Co is Proud of their product these days.

I'm with bill. Mj1200 works great. Just don't fill up the reactor all the way. Maybe just half way give the ecobak some room to move around.

OK - so I'm working on my list of items that I need to implement the ecoBAK pellets:

Dual BRS reactor
MJ 1200 pump
1/2" braided nylon tubing

But I need to fashion something for the return water supply to the tank. Do I go to Lowe's for this or are the parts I need on BRS? WM says the water exiting the reactor needs to be directed to the skimmer intake. So do I just use an elbow and another piece of tubing to do this? Need some guidance here. Thanks.

Cheaper?

Cheaper?

Yes they are Bill atleast mine was $75 cheaper this month.

What's your secret?, Mine was only 6.00 cheaper than last months. But 95.00 cheaper than the previous months so I am happy even though It's too high compared to what it used to be.:blown::blown::blown:
I would love to install Solar panels on my roof, And the Gov't will pick up most of the tab Hahaha
