Need help - anyone locally have a 50ml dosing pump

Alk is down to 6.1 - turns out my bubble magus thinks its working, but the pumps don't work anymore.

Anyone have a spare 50ml so I can run two part with my other 50ml?

glad i didnt buy a magus unit.....hmm i love my BRS dosers, all separate, so only 1 will fail

lol, I googled and the occurrences of this are rare. It can happen to anything, I caught the problem yesterday when KH dropped to 7, thought consumption went up so I increased dosing, didn't think the pump went. today at 6. ugh. there is another couple months of recovery.

bumped it to 7 and have two 1.1ml pumps to handle it from here. fortunately I had an extra PC4 strip - that makes 5 for the sump

let see how easy it is to get a new board for it.

If you're ever on the hook again I've got a box of dosing pumps (50 and 150ml), but they're 24v DC...

Why am I not suprised they are 24v? I have been looking for an excuse to buy a variable dc power supply

For one thing, it allows extremely fine control over dosing rate. Fiddle with the voltage a bit and you can get a 50ml pump to reliably deliver anything from maybe 10ml up to 60 or 70 ml. Though, I did have one running way overdriven (28v, delivering about 80ml) for about a year and the motor started to die...
