Need help deciding which biocube to go with

I have two biocubes in mind. I am going to buy one soon but would like some help deciding which one would be best.

From what I've read, it seems the main difference is that the Oceanic biocube hqi has a small refugium for macro algae while the jbj does not.

What do you think? Any past experience with either of these two or ideas which might be best?

I think the JBJ one is better. There is a few mods you can do to run a refuge in the JBJ. A few friends have the JBJ that switched from the BIOCUBE and are happy with their choice

Thanks for the info, that was what I was looking for. I think I will go with the JBJ. All that is mainly different is that the Oceanic has a refugium for macro algae but with such a small bio load, I probably don't need it.

I will need to figure out how to get copepods a safe spot to grow though.

I'm excited!
