Need help figuring out sump size

So I've decided to adds sump to my system which is a 60 gallon dimensions of 48 L x 13 w x 24 H I was looking at trigger systems for a sump they have the ruby 36 I believe the ruby 30 and a few others. What size would any of you recommend or other manufacturers? Thanks in advance for any help it is greatly appreciated

Many sumps out there will work. The best advice I have gotten was bigger the sump the better. I would get the biggest sump that will fit in you stand.

I think most people will say get as big of one as you can fit under your stand or wherever it will go. Triggers are nice as are Eshopps, precision marine, synergy, and most of the other pre-made acrylic options. (Some of which can be very pricey.) A glass tank from Petco works good too as a cheaper alternative.

Yeah I bought a 40 gallon breeder from petco to move my 75 gallon African Cichlid Tank downstairs, I was contemplating building my own sump I may try that first and see how it comes out

I have a sump under the stand and decided that wasn't enough. I wanted a refugium so I made one for display! You can see it in my current build thread linked in my signature below.

Get as big of a sump as you can fit. If you can fit a sump that's twice the volume of the tank it doesn't matter, do it!

My new sump is the brand new GEO. Got it at MACNA. Sumps are all about the little things and this puppy delivers it in spades. This is mine with a mod for a brightwell xport bio brick in wet/dry config.

Geos are great, I have the 46" model going under my 120 build. I'll have about 1/8" to a 1/4" to spare on each side under the stand. Bigger the better definitely
