Need help identifying anemone

Hey all, I figured I'd post an update on how the LTA is doing. As I've said before, I have no experience with these, but have been reading a lot. I've been keeping on top of my water params and all look good. I think it has got a good bit of color in it in the last few weeks or so. Tell me what you think?

As you can tell I got a maroon clown to host it....they both seem happy

Only problem is, the maroon clown has killed all but my fire-fish :thumbdown

It looks good Tom. I'm glad it has settled in for you and is hosting your maroon.

gedwierico, actually BTAs often have white lines around the mouth too, though obviously Tom's anemone is an LTA.

Here's another update. Not sure what's going on with it though. The green tips on some of the tentacles (about 3 or 4 of them) seem to be coming off? Is something the matter with it, or is this something natural that occurs?

Some pics.

Hi all,
Just figured I'd give another update. This thing has grown CONSIDERABLY over the last 5-7 weeks. Its disc is now probably around 12-13" or so. It was only about 8" or so back in November. I guess I'm so surprised it's grown so fast because I chose not to give it any supplemental feedings (except once), lights only.

As you can see, I've got a slight algae problem I've got to figure out :spin2:
