Need help identifying tiny white rods and white circles on rock (pictures)

Hi,

I have these tiny white rods scattered about my live rock.

I also have these tiny white, flat circles on some rock.

Neither of them are moving (if they are, it's so slow that I can't see it).

Any idea?

Size is about 2-3mm long for the small white rods.

The small white circles are about 2-3mm in diameter.
