Need help looking for vendors for MH retrofit kits

Going to build a canopy for my tank soon and was wondering if anyone could let me know a good place to get metal halide retrofit kits. I noticed a few places but some didnt have what I was looking for. Im looking for a 150W HQI DE type retrofit kit. Im suprised hellolights.com didnt have something like this. Do they not make retros for this type of set up? TIA.

No. Noone wants the liability for a DE retro. If you want to put a DE into a canopy, just countersink a DE pendant into the canopy. That is most people/companies don't.

There might be one--the old catalina lights company that might make one. Again, the thing about it is this: the whole "magic" of DE MH is related to the reflectors and the quality reflectors don't come bare--they only come in pendants--without those reflectors you are frankly much better off just going SE.

i got my 3 x 250 de retro kit from

i do think it was made via catalina, but it was $550 for 3x250 de with 10k ushio bulbs
