Need Help on halide hours.

I just purchased a Current outer orbit 36" 150 w HQI with 2 96 w power compacts. It came with 2 96 watt PC Acentic bulbs and I changed it to 1 with Acentic and 1 with daylight.

1. Is that ok?

2. How long can or should I leave the Halide on?

3.Opinons wanted..Is this a good light?

corals only use the first 5-7 hours of light, anything after that is for your viewing pleasure.
