need help setting up RO/DI

Those will work but your hose connection looks quite large. Almost 1/2"? Just by looking at it via the picture. I would try to measure it and see. I'm pretty sure those connections only come in 1/4" and 3/8" the most common size for water supply lines today. If you have a 1/2" you are going to have to be creative and do some adapter coupler work to also those pieces to fit in

haha great, I really hope it isn't 1/2. I am not sure where I am suppose to be measuring or where I would connect those to be honest. I am so bad at this stuff, it will not require me to do any cutting or anything correct?

If anyone can explain where I am suppose to be measuring and looking to apply the connection, I would greatly appreciate that. I am sorry for all the dumb questions, as you can tell I am definitely not a handyman (I'm a financial advisor at MS haha)

You can connect it with one of these.
FaucetAdapter

This adapter i listed in post#2 goes where I have circled on your picture.
You would need the 1/4" one.
It all screws on, no cutting.
Just remember to turn the water off before you disconnect.

Thanks so much, I greatly appreciate all the help I have gotten from you and everyone else on here. I know this is going to be a really stupid question, but how do I turn off the water

No, where I circled is where the adapter connects. Follow that down to the white circle knob.
Buy the connector for the 1/4" line and get 2 ball valves for 1/4" line.
Don't need the stop kit.

why do I need 2? Thanks again Mark!

Oh, and get a check valve too.
You can use 1 ball valve to shut water off going to the unit, makes changing di resin easier. That way, the tap is always in service. The other ball valve is used for the rodi out, so you can shut it off.
If you want to get fancy, you can also get an auto shutoff kit.

I was going to suggest the waste water adapter, but for you, i'd just loop the waste line into the sink drain.

Thad 1/4" piping? Not the actually hose but the threaded portion? Looks a lot bigger but I've been wrong before

I'll assume you're talking about the Mur-Lok EZ Faucet Adapter?
The 1/4" refers to the RODI supply line size (the line going to the rodi unit), which in your case, should be 1/4".
The other part, which connects to the faucet, is standard.

Be sure you have got the needed water pressure there to run the unit or you will have a really long wait for product.

I have a booster pump but thank you!! I had my ro/di set up perfectly where I used to live because it screwed right into the sink in my laundry room but not in my new apartment in DC

Also where would I get a check valve?

BRSCheckValve

You must install the check valve the correct way, there is an arrow on it indicating flow direction.

The check valve will save you from sucking rodi water out of the rodi unit and into the tap if you forget to close the ball valve between the rodi unit and the faucet adapter.

Make sense?

Yeah that makes a lot of sense, do I need that or can I just remember to close to ball valve? But I know I will remember to shut the valve off when im done using. Also is my post above correct that I need two of those valves 1/4 size and one of the other item 1/4 size?

Also is there a way for me to make sure those are the sizes I need?

Nope thought you were saying the supply line was 1/4". my confusion you are right that standard size is 1/2"
