Need help to identify a wave maker that goes on 1” acrylic sheet.

Why not attach the powerheads to the overflow (if you have one). I do that on my tank for a couple of Jebaos - the overflow runs along the top back of the tank and is only 1/4" thick. The external magnets are waterproof.

It's a peninsula style tank so I don't think it has the type of overflow that you are talking about.

Stacking magnets does increase the 'pull', yes. You have to get strong ones, though, and they're not cheap either.

I think the icecap 3k can do 1 inch thick. I have mine on a 3/4 and its pretty hard to remove, so 1 inch should be no big deal

Can you do me a favor by trying it out on something that's closer to 1"? Maybe a door or sliding door?

forget about this. I have the Canadian version (Glamorca 3k) which is exactly the same thing, but looks like the magnet is stronger on Glamorca. They recommend it for glass up to 1 inch, while icecap recommend it for glass up to 1/2 inch.
