i already have a saw and bulkheads for a hell of a lot cheaper than yours

Well, that was polite. A simple thank you but I have found one would have worked just fine. It seemed that they were willing to help you out.

I am glad I read this before responding offering them for free.

Check your attitude at the door it is not welcome here. You are very close to no longer being a member of the Reef Central community.

I have a hole saw for 1" pipes that I'll sell for $5. I used it to drill 2 holes.

fyi...for 1" pipe, there 2 types - schedule 40 and schedule 80. schedule 40 is regular duty (and cheaper); schedule 80 is heavy duty (and more expensive/harder to cut). anyway, you need to decide which bulkhead you want (1" regular duty or 1" heavy duty) because the hole sizes are different. i used the regular duty ones and I've had no problems after 2 years of use.

there is a chart here with both bulkheads and you can see the hole size is different: http://www.savko.com/portal/bulkhead.asp
you'll probably have to go buy the bulkheads from Savko because lowes/home depot don't normally stock them.

He passed up 1 for $5 and good advice to go with it and then posted (anyone) and now has one minutes later am kinda confused
