Both Clownfish are in QT right now been there for a week with copper (cupramine) at 0.5.

In the last few days I noticed something happening with the top fin of one of them. There is no other signs and they are eating well.

Is this fin rot or something else? What should I do. The fin is clearly lower than it should be and it's white / frayed / cut at the top.

Hm I just noticed a white spot on the gills also that look similar and his chin appear to have a tiny bit protruding. Could this be ich? But I've been running copper for 1 week now.

The white spot is more likely Lymphocystis, a virus infection that causes cells to grow excessively. The locations fit as well, as Lymphocystis often starts at wounds and blemishes.

The good thing about it is that Lymphocystis usually goes away by itself (like your common cold).

Oh, and use of copper fits the picture as well as copper lowers the fish's immune response which in turn promotes Lymphocystis infections taking hold.
