Current livestock I have is this in my 120 mixed reef is this

2- Black ice clown
2- Large bangai
1- Female Crosshatch
1- Male Blue jaw
1- Bi-Color Blenny
1- Scooter Blenny
1- Mandarin Goby
1- Purple Pseudo
5- Barletts
5- Lyretails
1- Medium Blue Face Angel
1- Potters Angel
1- Purple Tang

I KNOW, I'M OVER STOCKED SO DON'T YELL AT ME. All of my fish are fairly small, except the Cross Hatch and Blue Face and they have all got along for months and months now.

I'm building a 300 gallon long and I want to add these fish as well. It will be ready in 60 days.

Male Cross Hatch (I have one on the way already)
Gold Flake Angel
10-Ventralis Anthias
3-4 Black Tangs

I'm removing the Blue Jaw

What are your thoughts on adding these new fish?

I am focusing on SPS and maybe some LPS here and there that I feel will be okay with the angels.

I think that is a big stock lost for even a 300, as for 3-4 black tangs, you are going to be pushing your luck there. I had two in a 120 both around 2"s and I had to get rid of one. They fought all the time. I would add one black tang, the goldflake and have one pair of triggers. That's all I would add.

Thanks for the feedback. I am doing 4 Radion Pros, so moving away from the Hallides, my water should sit around 78.

I just changed the dimensions of my order this morning.

I ended up going 96 long, 30 wide, 32 tall and it will be 399 gallons.

I will be posting pics of the build and installation soon.

My original thinking was doing a school of Yellow Tangs, but then I thought it would be cooler to do Purple Tangs, but then I thought about it some more and threw out the idea of doing some Black Tangs.

Seems like a lot of large fish even for 300 gallon. You stock for their eventual size, not their current size.

Yes, I realize that. I've been doing this for 10 years, but I'm leaning towards getting rid of all the small fish and just doing lots of Anthias, the pair of Cross Hatch and 2 or 3 angels. I know I'm way over stocked on my 120. I use heavy filter socks, I skim heavy, I have a nice refugium and I change 10-20% water every single weekend. Thanks for the reply

I would agree, as long as you have a good skimmer. Unless you want to chance wasting $2500 on them and most likely removing them. Ventralis have horrible track records. They prefer cooler water. What kind of skimmer do you have? www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_Display.cfm?c=720&pCatId=95

I will be using the Super Reef Octopus 5000INT for this build.

Right now in my 120 I'm using Skimz. My nitrates and my phosphates are always 0, even with the heavy feeding 4-5 times a day.

That's a great skimmer. If you're dead set on the ventralis you should pm SDGuy. I'm not sure if he's ever had them, but he definitely knows a thing or two about anthias in general. Ventralis are one of my top five fish, but I dont think I'll ever try them.
