Need Help with new T-5 Fixture

I need help picking out a new T-5 fixture. The tank I will be using this over is 36ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚x20ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚x18ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚ I have been looking at the ATI Power Module Fixture. I am going to keep SPS and higher light corals in this tank so I am opting for a 6 bulb fixture. This tank is going to be placed in my living room which is very modern and European in style and design. I really like the look and functionality of the ATI Power module fixture but I would like to explore other options and recommendations. Any suggestions????

I am not familiar with that fixture. The thing you want to look for in T5s is if the bulbs are getting cooled. Either by enough venting or a fan. And individual reflectors. Also if you over drive the bulbs you will be more light out put. As long as the hood contains those features then you are getting a better T5 fixture. Don't get any that have a single reflector, that would just be like buying a power compact for your light.

The 2 T5 fixtures we carry that I like are the Aquatnics and Sunlight Tek Lights.
You can send me a link to one of the light you are referring too and I will look at it and see if they do have the right features.

Hi Michelle,

The ATI Powermodule has Active cooling and does in fact have individual reflectors. I really like the look of the Aquatinics Constellation but they don't make them in a 36" fixture at least to my knowledge. here is a link to ATI's website http://www.atiaquaristik.com/index.php?id=124,0,0,1,0,0 I believe the only U.S. distributor is ReefGeek.com
