need help with pump

im setting up a oceanic 120 tech series and need some help picking out a return pump, will have a 50-75 fuge under tank not sure how i should set this up pluming and all that, i can set it up with 4 over flows and 4 returns, 2 over flows 2 returns, i dont think i want 4 OF 4RT, that would be to much flow, i am also putting 1 or 2 vortech MP40w in tank, just looking for some input from all the people with experience as this is my first big tank build

I would look at BeanAnimals silent overflow in the DIY forum, it is what I use and like it alot. I have always been a fan of low turnover sumps/refugiums. I do about 3-4x turnover in my 120, using a silent Velocity pump. Use 2 Vortechs in the main tank for flow.

thanks for the link, went to the LFS today, i have the pluming set up for the most part, its going to have 2 overflows 2 returns, so i think i just need some ideas on a good quite pump

One of the quietest are Eheims- very reliable also. The quietest is the Velocity(aka Poseidons). They are external, water cooled( they will warm the water as much as a submersible), and DEAD silent.
