I normally dont have a problem with keep any corals unless it's xenia. Its just melts away. I have zoas, acros and anything inbetween. So I felt pretty confident on keeping a red goni. Well I got it last weekend. I couldnt resist. Even though I told myself not to lol.
Well some of the flesh is receding and you can see some of the skeleton. The first few days it looked fine. I feed my tank pretty well with my fish and feed oyster feast for my corals every 2-3 days.
Tank parameters as such:
AM/NI/NA - 0
Alk sits between 9.1-9.5
Mag 1420
Calc 475
Phos 0.9
Its in a Biocube 14 and on the sand. Only 2 fish.
Im hoping to keep it from completely dying. Any advice?
Here is a pic last night after moving it from touching any other corals. Thats why its closed up. But you can see the receded flesh and skeleton. But the polyps do come out normally.
