Need help with some shroom's...

Okay well I got these from a friend of mine a while back and I had some aptasia growing and I don't want it in my tank. I have heard that you can just use boiling water and inject it and apatasia x, joes juice and that good stuff but here is what I am wondering about.

Is there some way I can get those Mushroom's off the rock. and put them on another rock?

The rock they are on is a small rock that would probably serve better as a piece of rubble rock in my sump or something and I am just wondering if it would be better to just get rid of the rock all together. That way I don't have any hitch hiker's.

You can try to cut/peel the shroom off, and then put it wait for it to attach to whatever you want it to attach to (low flow, or bridal veil it with a rubber band to the rock you want)...

But peeling, might kill it. Cutting it will more likely result in you having a shroom in your sump... not necessarily a bad thing though.

If you want the rock to be mushroom free, cut the shroom off, attach it to a rock, then take the rock with the foot on it still, and kill the foot with fire, or chemical treatment, or let it air dry for a few days, etc.
