A friend of mine recently tore down a 90 gallon tank that had been running for 9 yrs. He didn't have time to maintain it any longer. To make a long story short, I was given two YWGs that had been living together in the tank.
I have them in a 65 gallon breeder with two percs, and they got along ok, been about a week. I assumed they were a pair, as I understand that unpaired they would not live together. They sometimes share a burrow, and sometimes the larger of the two chases the littler one off. Are they getting reaquained, or will I need to remove one? Today the smaller one was perched halfway up the tank on my heater suction cup, whenever it would descend the larger one would chase it off. They both eat well, and until today spent time together, and apart either sharing or swapping burrows.
