Need help

smud is going to cut the power on my block on wednesday, for about 4hrs
does anybody have a generator that I could borrow(rent) for half a day
or where can I rent one, does HD rents them

I have one if you don't find one closer. Also, battery operated air pumps work great and would be enough for 4 hours.

this is what kim is talking about. plugs in to the wall [which serves as a sensor - not running] and when the power goes out, the it comes on. runs off 2 D batteries. i have one on my work tank and it was put to use this weekend during a scheduled power outage. only costs $15.

I have a portable generator as well in case you need a third. You are more than welcome to it (~10KWH)

Well, I just got a call from smud, it seems they woun't be stoping by after all
the guy said they will let me know before they cut the power, which could be as soon as next week
