saw my temp this morning at 70 but both heaters are on? 350 watts for my 75g. lost of power maybe? whats my best course of action?

What are you measuring your temp with? I would double check the temp with a reading from different measuring device to reconfirm the 70 deg.

You'll probably be ok, especially if the power went out, and the temp dropped slowly.

I believe 60 degrees is the lower threshold regardless of how slow it gets there, when things start to die.

I had an SPS frag arrive at my house at 63 degress, and just acclimated it slowly, and it rebounded just fine.

Most of the time it's not so much the temp itself as it is how fast the temp changed and by how much.

Yesterday afternoon I put my hand into the tank and thought it felt cold. I checked and the controller said it was 70.1 degrees !

I went over to figure out what was up and found that I had unplugged 2 out of 3 heaters I use and forgot to put them back. I added the two 300 watt heaters and they kicked on and it took about 14-16 hours to get the temps from 70.1 up to 77 again.

Things started looking much happier than they had been before. I wonder how long it had been so low. Another one of those "DOH! " moments like Homer Simpson.
