this little thing is making quite a home on ove of my zoa frags..Any ideas??

yep it has a solid skeleton growing off the side of the frag..It's not very timid,it took like 4 pokes for it to retract where the zoa runs like a little girl when I get close to it lol

It looks so close to being a baby fungia but I know that can't be right... Hmmm. I'm now on a mission.

Well. Upon image searching "baby fungia" it really does look like that. One of the first image results for it was a pic from melevsreef.com which he identified as a baby fungia he obtained...

fungia can move on their own so looks like it found itself a new home on your frag plug. could have came from a wild colony originally.

upon a search I see that Fungia can reproduce by budding as well as fragmentation, do you have a fungia in your tank?

thanks guys..I hope it does well..The zoas dont seem to like him that much but he is attached to the frag,should I try to remove him to his own frag??
