Need ID please

Been noticing this guy on my torch. It's on the base of the torch. Looks like some kind of filter something. But here is were I'm stumped. Whatever it is, it can see . Let me explain..

The pictures below are from 2 directions. The straight on picture is of the cavern were it pulls back into. Can't get a straight on shot with it out because as soon as it sees anything or anyone on that side of the tank it shoots back into the base. And its very very fast when it does it. The second picture isn't real good but its the only one I can get from the side.

Its funny because I even tried moving super slow to get a picture but it sees anything and poof its gone... Its great looking into my tank and finding really interesting things... Now for the pictures..

Pretty neat Dave. Based on pics and reactive description, I'm thinking it's along the lines of a mini feather duster/fanworm of some sort.

Looks a lot like a worm. I have a bunch on one rock and I can't get close to them either. I have made an assumption that they sense my vibrations coming and hide.

I probably have about 20 of that exact feather duster in my tank. They're along the bottoms of most of my elevated rock in medium flow areas. All of them about a 1/2 inch across when fully open. They've never caused me any issues and I think they're quite pretty. I hope yours multiplies so you can have em all over the place.

Thanks for the suggestions. The picture really doesn't show just how colorful this guy is. I hope it sticks around and maybe has a few friends eventually pop up.
