Dosage info needed........I have a friend that has red bugs and needs some Interceptor.
I was at the vets with my dog and he said he would get it for me but I need to know what dosage per gallon(s) and how many treatments needed.
Thanks

I used twice the dosage in my systems as well.

Also when I bring anything new in.
After I acclimate frag/coral properly.

I make a dip of interceptor and leveasole. After a good soaking. Then I betadine and baster blast in 1000 ml of tank water to 6ml of betadine and blast for acro eating flatworms for about a mintue (do not soak or run risk to bleach/kill the coral) and then rinse in container of tank water and inspect with magnifier and flashlight.

3 treatments each a week apart I believe is recomended.

Jeff posted the article, but one of the large (23mg) tabs is supposed to be enough to treat 400 gallons.

Also, it's never a bad thing to have some extra on hand. Either to help out fellow reefers, or keep some extra on hand for treating new corals before you add them.

I'm guessing the vet just wants to know what size pills to get you. There are 4 sizes, and 6 pills per package.

Here's a product link:

Good luck.
