Roger,
One of the screws needed to mount the streams snapped while trying to mount them. Its the long plastic screw with the large head. Is there any way you could please send me a replacement?

Does the "Holder Device Extension M5x55mm (3000.244)" include replacement screws? What exactly (as far as parts) is included with that kit? I want to attach it to the lip of my 210 AGA but I want to make sure it will work first. I also have a canpopy that sits on the tank so I cant have a bracket hang over it or anything like that. Will everything be ok this way and wil the above kit allow me to do so?

Thanks,
Jeremy

The screws likely snapped because they can't span the width of AGA trim, that is the purpose of 3000.244 which has longer stainless steel screws. You get the longer screws and some spacer pieces to accomodate the gap between the glass and the rail. Unfortunately with a cap it doesn't work very well unless it is open in the back and you can attach it that way. The only other possibility is to attach it to the overflow boxes or to the canopy itself with wood screws. NOTE- the current kit 3000.244 screws are not quite long enough for big AGA tanks, the next batch will have appropriate length screws. Let me know what you want to do and if you decide on another plastic screw I can send you one but without crossing the trim it will be rather precarious mounting.

I wanted to mount them like JB NY did in these pics....

Do you think that is safe? Does the mounting kit include the suction cup for support like in the pic? If I were to mount them this way I would rather have the plastic screws since its directly over the tank.

JB NY knows what he is doing so I guess it can be done, but it makes me nervous. Yes, that suction cup piece comes with 3000.244. PM me and I can send you the screw- let me know if it is the hand turned screw or the screwdriver turned one you broke. Just give me your address and I'll get it out tomorrow. For the suction cup and spacer deal in kit 3000.244 you will want to contact MD or Champion- they would be the only ones with the product in stock.

Roger,

Next week I will be receiving the 7310/2 Turbelle Electronic Kit. I have an AGA 55 gallon with the black rim around it. Do I need to purchase any of the holding device extension kits? Or do you think I should just wait and see how it goes when I get it. I'm just excited and know I will want to get it up and running immediately and won't want to wait for another part to arrive. :D

Isn't that a used one? Maybe the guy already has it? One that old qouldn't come with it (a 7310/2 hasn't been made for over a year, replasced by purchasing kit TF03) it is required for US plastic trimmed aquariums.

It is not used...it is brand new in the box, etc. The guy offered it to me for a good price. I guess I didn't realize it was an older model when I bought it. Does this mean I only get one year warranty on it? Anyway, it will come with whatever it normally would come with for mounting.

Yes, warranty is up after 2 years from the date he bought it. This should be of no real concern though, they don't break for the most part. The production date is stamped on top of the pump so you could check that out, that is what is used if there is no reciept but only his original receipt has any validity. I am sorry but when you first asked me I assumed it was a used pump. You will need a 3000.244 kit or to come up with some sort of custom design for an AGA tank. The included screws will not be long enough. At $150, you still got a good deal, TF03 is about $280.

You need the 3000.244 set. Stamped into the plastic on top of the pump is a 3 number date code- that will tell you how old it is. It is read series, quarter, year.
