Need Opinion on Extreme Typhoon III RO/DI Unit...

Looking for opinions on this RO Unit.

In case the moderators want to delete the link, it's an "Extreme Typhoon III 150" Reverse Osmosis Unit.

Many extra features built in.

I am used to using the generic $100 100GPD units on Ebay, which are cheaper to buy new than to replace the membrane and filters.

Anyone use this device?

Suggest sticking to the cheap Ebay models?

Are the extra goodies worth the extra money?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Think all the goodies are worth the extra dinero?

Or better to stick with the simpler, cheaper one?

I would skip the cheap eBay stuff and go for a decent 4-Stage. I use a Spectrapure but a $129 BRS would suffice just fine. Besides a TDS meter, those extra bells and whistles seem overkill. JMO!

Hope all is well in Texas. Mr. Helinski is making a conscious effort to keep everything running smoothly until you get home!

Agree with johny - go with a solid name brand. I like thefilterguys which are a sponsor I believe. Great quality stuff, and they will help you when there is an issue.

TDS and pressure meter are good options!
