Need PEST ID and Options

Finally able to press the reset button on my system after a couple kids, 2 major house projects, and work calming down a bit. (1500g system with 1000g display)

Very familiar with majano's and Aptasia as you can see from these 2 images but the smaller pests are new to me and they've taken over the rocks and sandbed. They seem to max out at 5mm in diameter, have little bumps on the surface, and have short stocky as well as thin tentacles.

I pulled the rock and nuked it. I'm pulling the sand now.

What are these and what gets rid of them outside of maybe a filefish or racoon butterfly?

Thanks in advance.

Chris

You have a lovely crop of Mojano Anemones. They should be treated the same as Aiptasia. If there were just one or two here and there I would suggest a syringe and boiling water. That has certainly worked for me over the years. With that many, I would consider pulling the rock, allowing it to dry out completely, scrubbing it and putting it back in the tank. You could still try the boiling water treatment but it might take a few weeks to get them all.

so you're saying the smaller ones are just baby majanos? They look a lot different. I was about to say they could be a rapidly growing stinging pest polyps. In the first picture there are clearly 3-4 majanos (fat tentacles) but you think the rest are also majanos just not fully developed?

Adding - I pulled all the rock and nuked it with muriatic acid, then bleach bath, then pressure rinse. It's drying now. I'm in the process of pulling the sand but with around 900lbs of sand it will take a while. :(
